S/V Shannon is a CT49, designed by Kaufman & Ladd. She is sometimes referred to as a Tawanize Swan. We are sailing around Point Elena in about 40+ knots of wind. We are flying a storm jib, stay sail and double reefed main. Because these winds are “offshore”, the waves are relatively small, but, are close together and steep faced. We can find this wind 4-5 months of the year and teach you to sail in extreme conditions with warm weather. More info in the video and our web site; http://www.flamingobeachcr.com Check us out! :D

  5. This yacht is not sailing in 60knots of wind thats just total bullshit. Probably your windinstrument malfucntioned and it was supposed to say 16knots of wind… I also happen to know that SWAN is a finnish brand and their yachts are amongst the priciest in the world. If it really is a SWAN on the pics its a disgrace to the shipbuilder and should be sunk.

  8. This is not extreme sailing at all, its just a nice day with a good breeze, not a bad thing, but certainly not what i was excpecting when i clicked on an extreme sailing link!!

  9. 60 knts of breeze and your on the wind with both heads’l and what appears to be the whole main. The waves are about three foot high and no one seams to be bothered by spray, warm weather or not. Your exaggerateing massively my friend.

Do some fucking maint. on that piece of **** boat. The decks look like crap. You should be embarrassed to charter it. Calling it a Swan. Give me a break. You should have never re floated it after it sank. Please tell us how it sank.
